Eleven charged with drugs offences

Two youths were charged today with dealing heroin, cocaine and cannabis in north Dublin.
Gardaí had made several arrests as part of an investigation into the distribution of drugs in the Kilbarrack and Raheny areas in north Dublin over recent months.
The two youths made no reply when they were charged at the Dublin Children's Court today.
One of them, aged 17, is accused of possessing supplies of heroin, cannabis and cocaine, each worth €50, for sale or supply to another, at a location in in Kilbarrack on dates in June, July and September last year.
His 17-year-old co-accused has been charged with possessing heroin worth €50 for sale or supply, in the same area, on August 2 last.
Judge Bryan Smyth remanded the pair on bail to appear again on March 28 when they are to enter pleas to the charges.
Seven men facing a range of drugs offences which allegedly happened in the Kilbarrack, Coolock and Artane areas were also charged at Dublin District Court.
They were remanded on bail to appear again in March pending directions from the DPP. Bench warrants were also issued for the arrest of two more men who have also been charged with drugs offences in the Clontarf area.
