Unions call for protests in response to Greek bailout terms

The two largest trade unions in Greece have called for protests today in response to the terms of the country's second bailout deal.

The rescue package worth €130bn comes with strict conditions, including permanent monitoring of the country's budgets.

Prime Minister Lucas Papademos has said the plan needs to be supported to avoid "uncontrolled economic chaos".
